Chapter 1

“Or to lose the unwanted soul.”

“Why are we here?” The blonde vampire asked as she leaned against her prized midnight blue Viper, appearing to the world as one incredibly bored leather-clad seductress.

“Because Delia got her little girl all cursed and she wants her back,” the blonde's latest boy toy purred, sliding up to his mistress and grinding himself against her warranty.  Or at least he tries to, but is stopped by a strong hand wrapping itself around his neck and lifting him off his feet.

“You have not been given permission to talk boy,” the much older vampire who had him by the throat growled, "you will not speak of your betters in that tone of voice or I will remove your tongue and see how long it takes for it to grow back.  Do I make myself clear fledge?” He demanded releasing the vampire and sending him flying with a small push.

“You're scaring the bad little fledge daddy,” a sing-song voice said as two figures stepped out of the shadows, “Riley has been a naughty boy...can me and Faith play with him?  Please?  We'll make him scream for you and Beth just like you like all fledges to.  Please daddy?”

The elder vampire looked into his insane childe's eyes for a long moment, he had plans for the night just him and his youngest childe in an orgy of pain and pleasure, now all because of his eldest childe's insistence on shagging the stupidest minions she could find in order to embarrass him, he wasn't going to have the time to scar his beautiful Alexander with that new toy he had made just for his youngest.  Coming to a decision the vampire called Ripper smiled evilly, “Yes my Alexander, you and Faith can make him scream for me,” he purred turning back to the blonde, “while I have a discussion with your sister on the merits of breeding and bloodlines.” He finished, silently daring the female vampire to say something to provoke him.

Beth regarded her sire with an amused smirk not at all afraid of his thinly veiled threat; she had grown bored of the fledgling Riley and was going to stake him anyway.  He was a vast disappointment in bed as it was; maybe a night with her insane brother and equally insane childe, Faith, will teach him something.  She may have to rethink her staking plan and just open him up to the other minions as the clan fuck toy, she knew her other pet, Graham, would love for that to happen.   “Whatever...he's not nearly as good as Graham, but my Graham did have your teachings after all?” she purred seductively recalling the interest her sire had taken in Alex and Graham over a century ago when the family first came to this cursed country during its Civil War.

“Enough of this... Alex, you and Faith take the fledge back to the lair and fuck him silly, Beth just shag father AND Graham and any other minion that walks or staggers by... I am going to find my childe,” the dark-haired vampiress called Delia growled, having grown bored with the family's usual idea of foreplay.  If they weren't thinking of blood, they were thinking of sex and on rare occasions they were even thinking of blood AND sex.  She had grown so bored over these last few decades without her favourite childe at her side, still cursing the gypsy bastards that had taken her beautiful Willow away from her by giving her that accursed soul.  But no more, Delia had finally learned of a way to break the curse and get her childe back, then she will make a clean break with the family, go off with her favoured one and leave the whole lot of them to rule the hellmouth Ripper seemed so eager to control.

“Delia... can I go with you?  I want to see Willow too,” the vampire called Faith asked, as she stared into the older vampire's face eagerly. It had gotten so lonely at the lair without her playmate, it just wasn't the same making people scream without Willow there to help - she never seemed to get it right on her own. “I don't want to fuck the stupid fledge... if mummy can't teach him anything he can't be any good.”

“Come along Faith... lets go find Willow and kill some cheerleaders,” Delia relented after a moment, deciding that the younger vampire was about the only one she could stand now, one of the few in the clan that didn't annoy her.  It probably had a lot to do with Faith's own mourning of Willow's loss to those gypsy bastards... it just wasn't natural for a vampire to have a soul.

Ripper watcher the two female vampires disappear into the night with unreadable eyes, he wasn't blind he knew that Delia had been pulling away from the family every since that night, that she blamed him for the curse that took her childe from her side.  He also knew it would only be a matter of time before she left the clan and probably take Faith with her, not that he really minded, Delia had always been her own vampire, demanding only the very best of everything.  She had grown into her own and was ready to lead her own clan; she had always been, even when Willow was still with them but his darling Delia stayed out of loyalty to him.  But after the curse she started to distant herself and several of the minions had also begun to show signs of following her when she finally walked out the lair for good.  When that night came he knew he would have to do everything within his power to make sure it was a peaceful parting, having Delia as an enemy would be very unwise especially if she had Willow at her side once more... very unwise indeed.

*******************************

The vampire known as Willow seat quietly in a darkened corner of the Bronze watching the house band play, or more precisely watching the young bleached blonde drummer.  Something about the young man called to her and to her demon safely locked away from the world.  Every time she got near the mortal her demon would rattle around in its cage trying to get to him, to make him hers for all time.  As much as she tried to stay away from the boy, least her control slip and her demon got loose to claim him, she always found herself in the Bronze watching him while he played.

“You got it bad Fang,” a blonde-haired girl said in a faint accent, dropping into the seat next to the vampire. “Why don't you just jump Blondie's bones and get it over with?”

“The happiness clause Darla.... I won't become that monster again,” Willow replied wondering why the golden-haired Slayer insisted on hanging out with her.  Not that she overly minded, Darla and her fellow Slayer Drusilla were both okay... for Slayers and to some degree she even liked them.  However, her demon was at its most restless when both of them were near her, especially when the blonde drummer also happened to be in the area.  It was getting harder for her to keep control around the three when they were all in the same room, her demon constantly painting images of the damage she could if she claimed the three as "pets" and got it over with.

“You know, Dru and I were talking about that just the other day... we figure; 'what the hell we got an orb, lets give Fang a happy and then resoul her before she tries to eat anyone we know',” the Slayer said after a moment.

“Darla... do you actually give any thought to what you are about to say or do you just open you mouth and let the words come out?” Willow asked, wondering if she had actually heard right and why her demon seemed so eager to go with the idea.

“Ahhh come on you know you and all demony inside of you want to jump the blonde wonder's bones... so just go for it, you'll be resouled just like that,” she encouraged with a snap of her fingers. “Besides... Dru and I want to watch.”

“I thought the two of you had Angel to lust over or whatever it is you kids call it now a days,” Willow replied dryly wondering just how she got into the middle of two Slayers' wet dreams.

“Oh please... he is too busy lusting over his precious books and having Kate ‘look at me I'm a Watcher’ Lockley trying to get into his pants.” Darla said her voice dipping with venom, “I just know she is some kind of evil demon that just HAS to be slayed.... she is all over my net-guy and I don't like it.”

Willow only shook her head in disbelief, still amazed at the twists and turns that the blonde-Slayer's mind tends to take at a drop of a hat, especially where it concerned the tall quiet hacker that liked to ask her bizarre questions all the time.  Shaking her head, she straightened suddenly her vampire senses detecting a presence she hadn't felt in nearly a century.

“Hey Fang what's the deal?” Darla question noting the vampire's sudden alert state, already reaching for her trusty stake, she hated when Fang got like this it almost always meant she was going home covered in dust.

Willow rose from her chair and turned to face the two vampires that just walked into the Bronze, “Put the stake away Darla you don't want to mess with either of them,” the redhead warned, her eyes focused on her sire and one time lover.  “Delia... it's been a long time,” she said in greeting her senses picking up the rest of the family somewhere in town as well.  'Why haven't I sensed them earlier?'

“Willow... it's been a long time baby... and such company you are now keeping.  Really?  Associating with Slayers didn't I teach you better?” Delia purred running a manicured finger nail down the side of her childe's cheek, enjoying the slight twitch the cheek gave in response.

Forcing herself to remain calm even as her demon roared in pleasure, Willow concentrated on keeping her human mask on and her wits about her. “You taught me a lot of things I'd sooner forget,” Willow ground out through clutched teeth her little hands balled into tight fists.

“Now, now... I know its all that silly old soul talking... but don't worry pet... mummy's come to make it all better.” The older vampire promised with an evil glow to her eyes. “You'll be back at my side in no time, maiming and torturing like only you can.” With those words Delia left followed close behind by the insane Faith who had stopped to give a stunned Darla a breath-stealing kiss.

“You stay healthy Slayer... I got plans for you,” Faith had purred, giving the cursed vampire a wink before following Delia out of the Bronze.

“What the hell was that?” Drusilla demanded having witnessed the whole thing, Angel not far behind the dark-haired Slayer.

“My sire... and former lover,” Willow replied in a near whisper, her demon still roaring in triumph from its cage.  'Soon, soon I'll be free and the night will be mine once more,' it kept chanting in the back of her mind.

End Part One.

Author’s Notes:

I claim no responsibility for how slutty the vampire version of Buffy seems at the moment... she just turned out that way and I have no control over her.  Well... that is my story and I'm sticking too it damn it.  :)
